Speakers go to static - bad product

Reviewer:  TX Mom of Twins  (Austin, TX)  See all my reviews

I had the same problem as everyone else - my speakers went fuzzy after about 3 weeks of use. And my babies were very used to the music at naptime! I am glad that I read these reviews prior to returning it to the store. I am going to call Munchkin directly instead.

It is such a disappointment because the product idea is wonderful. The light show was a great nightlight too.

Poor quality item

We used this item for a short while before the speakers got fuzzy and eventually became so bad that it actually woke our sleeping babies! We returned the item for another identical item, thinking the one we received was defective. The next one did the exact same thing! Don't waste your money!!!

Good idea in theory...

Reviewer:  New Mom  (Michigan)  See all my reviews

This is pretty cheap. The sound is okay quality for very low volume on a crib. There is no volume control on the actual unit and it does not charge the iPod while in use. I say skip this and get a small CD player or an MP3 speaker system that plugs into the wall for the nursery.

Great idea, bad product...

Real Name

I saw this when we were doing our baby registry and wanted it. Some of our freinds bought it for our baby shower and it worked great for about a week and a half. I really liked the lights that changed color to help sooth our little monster. But then one night, instead of playing music all that would come out of the speakers, if anything, was static, so I swapped the batteries out and the same thing happened. Next I returned it and exchanged it for a new one. Same result, except the new iCrib was worse. It never even made it through one Johnny Cash song before it went on the fritz. All in all I would suggest saving your money and avoiding the iCrib, but I guess you never know, maybe I just had the misfortune of picking two bad ones.
